Sometimes though we get so focused on the tough stuff that we forget the good stuff. 
Every family has a special gift that they bring to the world. 
Some families have music. 
That was my father's family gift. 
Some families grow beautiful gardens. 
My mother's family had a vegetable garden that was a riot of colour and a treasure trove of goodness. 
My daughters are growing up with music AND planting vegetables.
