Her name was not Magdalene

This could be my mother or my grandmother's grave...
if things had been even a little different.
If you are Irish or of Irish origin this could be your mother or grandmother's grave,
if things had been even a little different.
I feel sick to my stomach at the thought.
What are these womens' names?
Where are their babies?
Simple questions...
But all we know right now is that their names were not Magdalene.

If you care about the forgotten women of Ireland please visit  Justice for Magdalenes to find out how you can help.

My heart breaks thinking of the deep hurt these poor women felt at their loss of freedom, loss of their babies and loss of their family and friends. Their pain is unimaginable.

Finally after so many years of campaigning things are beginning to move Mairead but there is still a long road to go...Mx
