On the 6th day of November 1788, Henry Newell of Kent County, Delaware wrote a Deed of Manumission for

Charles
Nance
Peter,(to be fulfilled when Peter reached the age of 21)
Henry Newell received Moses, Charles. Nance and Peter as an inheritance from George Wilson of Kent County, Delaware also in 1788 for the purpose of Manumission.
He also placed a penalty of 'two hundred Delaware dollars' on any person who interfered with their Manumission.
