This research was undertaken as a contribution to The Beyond Kin Project working with Genealogy Adventures so that families can be reunited. The method used is the Beyond Kin Project method created by Dr. Donna Cox-Baker and Frazine Taylor. The 'parent' is a list of those recorded with the surname Butler and/or the surname Bull 1815-1818. The Bull surname is most likely given by those that had been brought by Pierce Butler from his grandmother in law, Mary Bull Middleton's plantations in South Carolina in the 1790s.
