On Dec. 9th 1864 Prior Brannan of Company A, 70th, US Colored Troops married Arrinda Adams of Thomas County, Georgia, in Natchez, Mississippi.
Prior was aged 28, born c 1836 and Arrinda aged 24, born c1840. Prior was described in his marriage certificate as Black, son of a Black mother and a Black father. Arrinda was described as half White, her mother as three quarters White and her father as a quarter White.
Their witnesses were N S Hitchcock, Co. A, 70th, US Colored Troops & Phineas Mixer, Ordained Minister.
I found the following brief record but cannot ascertain if it belongs to the same man.
